Bandura’s research suggested that our behaviours aren't governed by innate traits or genetic impulses, but that our social environment shapes the way we interact with others.

Bandura also discovered that behaviours could be acquired from television watching, and, more interestingly, that television modelling could be more powerful than real world learning.
